Types of Abhishek

Regular Abhishek (Remote Participation Allowed)

For devotees unable to visit due to age, health, or work, Abhishek can be performed in their absence. Names, gotra, and sankalp details are submitted, and prasad with a certificate is sent by post. Video call option available on request.

Hawanatmak Shanti

A powerful fire ritual invoking Shri Mangal Dev through havan for purification, peace, and relief from Mangal Dosh. Ideal for spiritual and planetary balance.

Panchamrit Abhishek

A sacred offering of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar on the self-manifested idol. Performed exclusively for one family for personalized blessings.

Nitya Prabhat Abhishek

A daily early morning Abhishek for devotees seeking regular divine blessings and spiritual upliftment.

Independent Special Abhishek

Every Tuesday, a personalized Abhishek for individuals or families. Devotees from across India participate for Mangal Dev’s blessings.

Abhishek Seva at Mangal Grah Temple – Amalner

Many devotees, due to reasons such as age, health concerns, employment responsibilities, or business commitments, may not be able to visit the temple personally to perform Abhishek. To ensure their spiritual connection remains intact, the temple offers the facility to perform Abhishek in their absence.

Abhishek Facility for Non-Resident Devotees

Devotees who are unable to attend in person can still participate spiritually through the following process:

Process:

  1. Name Submission

    • Devotees can prepare and submit a list of names (every fortnight) for whom the Abhishek is to be performed.

    • Details should include:

      • Full Name

      • Gotra (Lineage)

      • Specific Sankalp or Intentions (if any)

  2. Scheduling Abhishek

    • The Abhishek will be performed every Tuesday (Mangalvar) as per the temple’s traditional rituals.

    • The ritual is conducted under the guidance of Gurujee and lasts for approximately 1 hour.

  3. Prasad & Certification

    • After the Abhishek is completed:

      • Prasad will be sent to the devotee via post.

      • A Certificate of Abhishek will also be issued and dispatched.

  4. Payment Details

    • Devotees are required to deposit the Abhishek Seva fee of ₹810 in advance.

    • Payment can be made via:

      • Bank transfer to the temple’s official account

      • In-person at the temple counter

  5. Video Call Option (Optional)

    • For devotees with specific requests, Abhishek can be conducted via live video call.

    • Prior notification to the temple administration is necessary to arrange this facility.
